The Showgirls for this year’s Glen Innes Show were put to the test on Saturday with judging taking place from 11:00am to 9:00pm, with a lunch, interview, speeches and finally a dinner at the Services Club on Saturday evening.
Showgirl organiser Christine Parish said it would have been a very tough decision for this year’s judges.
“The judges were very impressed with all the girls, the decision was made late Saturday evening,” she said.
Mrs Parish said 29 people attend the dinner at the Services Club, which consisted of show executives and stewards.
“An excellent lunch was also provided, by the ladies auxiliary, “ she said. "All the girls were beautifully dressed and presented."
The showgirls will be presented at the show opening, with the winner and runner up announced on Saturday during the grand parade.
