Biting wind, rain and cold conditions were not enough to stop approximately 100 Australian Celtic Festival goers from attending what is thought to be the first indoor dawn service at the Australian Standing Stones this morning.

While the dawn service has been traditionally held on Tynwald Hill overlooking the stones, Dawn Service speaker Judi Toms said this year could be the first that the Service had relocated inside the Sapphire Stage marquee.
With the Dawn Service marking each Celtic Festival since its inception in 1992, the program included performances of the Hymn of the Cornish Saints and the Hymn of the Standing Stones, delivered by the local Celtic Choir, joined by addresses from Mayor Colin Price, the Cornish Society and Reverend Richard Clementson.
