With clubs from across the state travelling to play, participating junior players developed their skills and team cohesion, with local teams showing great sportsmanship on the day.
As the season progresses, local teams have been performing well throughout the region, representing club and community with a great show of commitment and skill on the field.
With players recently returning from Warwick, Under 13s and Under 15s teams will travel to Armidale on Sunday, August 3, before gearing up to host their own local carnival at Wilson Park on Sunday, August 24.
While the season has not been entirely unmarred by patchy conditions, the recent Stanthorpe Carnival turned out fine, with the local forecast redacting windy condition giving way to a sunny weekend across the region.
