At a recent 35 hour course conducted at the Glen Innes Showground it became apparent just how popular it really is as people from near and far travelled in to participate in the activity.
Organiser John Broadfoot has conducted the courses previously and said this course offers value for money although not accredited.
“It falls into the category of adult education, but the Facetors’ Guild still offers a certificate of completion,” Mr Broadfoot said.
“Many places offer in-house certificates. This is really an opportunity for people to learn the techniques, the basics of faceting and broaden their interests.”
