With a recent name change from Bi-Lo to Coles, and a fresh new look to the interior of the store shoppers can look forward to Coles being here for the long term.
Rumours were rife that Coles, formerly Bi-Lo, was closing its doors. But nothing could be further from the truth according to Mr Hubner.
In a special ceremony on Wednesday morning Mr Hubner thanked the loyal staff who have helped make the business viable. The event included a ribbon cutting and cake cutting ceremony performed by several original staff members who have served the community from the store since the early days of Bi-Lo’s establishment in Glen Innes.
“We want to remain part of the community,” Mr Hubner said.
With 40 team members working in the Coles operation the business is a major employer in the town, a fact that did not go unmentioned by Mr Hubner who has been store manager for the past three months.
“I want to thank all the staff and their families for their loyal support and hard work,” he said.
“I can guarantee Coles will be here to stay and to sell the products customers know and love.”
