The win came despite being undermanned with just nine players taking the field at Lynch Oval.
The match failed to go the full distance with Services bowling Colts out for 105 before chasing down the target in just 16 overs.
Colts took the crease first with Nathan Purvis pacing the Colts batsmen with 39 not out.
Purvis received support from Ian Hope with 23 as well as some wayward Services bowling with 29 sundries adding to the Colts total.
Brendon Smith was the star bowler for Services with figures of three for 21.
For Services Joel Jackson was the star with the bat, coming close to a half century with 45 runs, which he brought up in just ten overs. Jackson also took two wickets with the ball in an all round performance.
He was ably supported by Michael Chard who finished unbeaten on 33 after opening the batting, Chard also helped out by a handy 15 from Jeremy Lonergan.
Services captain Nick Lehman said it was satisfying to get their first win on the board despite being undermanned but added that his side still has a few to return to the first eleven.
“It was good to get the win with only nine players, we should be right now as we have had a few blokes away at university which finishes up soon,” he said.
“We should have Blake Steel back next week who is one of the better bowlers in the competition and Nick Whan, who is also one of the better bowlers the following week.”
In the other match at King George Oval Railway Tavern were too strong for Tattersalls finishing up on four for 129 prior to bowling Tatts out for 120.
