SATURDAY October 9 saw the Glen Innes Pony Club host their annual Interclub Day with members of the Inverell, Emmaville, Tenterfield, NEGS, Walcha, Bundarra, Guyra and Glen Innes clubs competing.

A total of 72 riders participated at the Glencoe Sportsground with flat riding in the morning and the sporting events in the afternoon.
Glen Innes was the overall winning club for the day with 1211 points followed by Inverell. Glen Innes also took out the associates with 148 points followed by Bundarra.
Glen Innes riders featured heavily in the individual highest point scorers with Lali Alt and Blake Duddy scoring highest in the under five girls and boys and Lachlan Cameron in the five and under seven boys.
Mia Baker and Edie Newberry were highest point scorers in the seven and under nine girls and boys.
Nick Cave came in as reserve highest point scorer in the 11 and under 13 boys, and Shae Partridge came in as reserve highest point scorer for the 13 and under 15 girls.
Glen Innes also secured reserve highest point scorer in the 13 and under 15 boys through Bryce Burey, the 15 and under 17 girls through Bianca Grob and the 15 and under 17 boys through Trent Burey.
The Glen Innes club also took home reserve highest point scorer in the associate ladies division through Kirsten Roberts with Brendan Weiss taking out highest point scorer in the associate gents.
Emmaville’s Jason Lyn was highest point scorer in the 15 and under 17 boys.
