THE Glen Innes Learning Centre library played host to a special morning of fun and activities yesterday when they hosted families and grandparents for grandparents day.

A good roll out of children and their mothers as well as four grandparents attended the morning which started with a story book reading.
Other activities that were held in the children’s
centre section of the library included arts and crafts and a morning tea. Children also played with toys and read books with their family members.
The Danthonia Bruderhof Community will also hold their own grandparents day this Sunday from 1:30pm. The day will include games and activities and various food will also be on offer, admission is free.
