The final event of the day is a team event called Deauville Doubles where the pairs are randomly drawn.
Shooters shoot for their target on the first shot and then helping their partner if they miss on their second, not as easy as it sounds and when coupled with lots of heckling makes for an interesting event, shot off 18 metres and although most of the previous events were decided by the way of shoot offs it was the last event that held the attention of most.
Geoff Jacobson and his grandson Zac Smart and David Edmonds and Mellissa Grennan were the only 2 left standing in the closing stages of the shoot off, back on the 25 metre peg, they battled it out, David and Mellissa got the better of Geoff and Zac.
