Glen Innes High School students were given some ‘wisdom’ from politicians, teachers and proud parents at their end of year award ceremony at the town hall last week.

At the ceremony were a number of local identities, including the member for Northern Tablelands, Adam Marshall who applauded the students for their successes.
“Glen Innes High School is a fine example of public education as it is one of the top performing schools in the state,” the Mr Marshall said.
Acting deputy principal, Luke Schmitzer said awards were offered in the creative, academic and sporting fields.
“I would like to send a special congratulation to all the students who have made the 2014 academic year a memorable year.” he said.
Mr Schmitzer also wished all the students, staff and parents a happy and safe festive season.
“And we look forward to another successful year in 2015, and I am sure it will be a good one,” he said.
