The council plans to spend $1,125,922 on fixing up the roads in the area.
$357,672 has been allocated for the rural heavy patch program and $200,000 has been allocated for gravel re-sheeting and wearing course works, both of these programs will be funded by the recent special rate variation.
$170,000 has been allocated for local sealed rural roads bitumen resealing program and 80,000 has been set aside for a program for urban kerb and gutter replacement.
$30,000 has been earmarked for an urban footpath renewal program.
$68,250 of general funding will be put towards a local sealed urban roads bitumen resealing program and $220,000 worth of funds from the government’s roads to recovery program has been set aside for unallocated transport infrastructure.
