Emmaville Post Office Licensee Anna Byers held her fourth biggest morning tea with more than 60 people attending.
Anna raised over $920 with donations still to come.
There were raffles and lucky door prizes along with Country and western singer Rachel Jillett providing entertainment for the morning.
New England NSW Cancer Council Community Programs Coordinator Paul Hobson also said a few words expressing his gratitude for local support and fundraisers.
Anna was overwhelmed by the support the community puts behind her biggest morning teas.
“It’s grown definitely over the four years,” she said.
“Rachel has been a draw card this year.”
Emmaville MPS held a biggest morning tea for the residents which was organised by Shirley Taylor.
Shirley said an event like morning tea, breaks the monotony for the residents.
"It's a plus for them and every dollar helps the cause," she said.
Emmaville Central School’s Upper Primary dance group provided the entertainment for the morning which was attended by about 20 people.
The dance group volunteers their own tome at school lunches to practice for performances.
Classroom and dance teacher Brad Laurie said the troop consists of 20 people including 4 boys.
"They are super excited, they relish every opportunity to go out into the wider community," he said.
"It allows us to forge stronger community ties."
The funds raised from Australia's Biggest Morning Tea’s helps the Cancer Council continue its vital work in cancer research, prevention and support services.
There is still time to register to host a morning tea go to http://biggestmorningtea.cancer.org.au/ however there are still plenty of other morning teas to attend.
Gail McIntyre will be holding her annual morning tea on May 26 from 10am at 2717 Pinkett Road.
The Glen Innes Lioness Club will be holding their morning tea at the community centre from 9am on May 28.
Parish Playgroup are having a morning tea on May 29 from 930am in the hall behind the Catholic Church.
The Glen Innes Examiner will have cakes and cuppas available for gold coin donations on June 25.
