Service To Others Really Matters (StormCo) – is an adventure based service program focused on serving the community.
Singing, dancing, drama, puppets, craft, face painting, balloon sculpting and clowns provided smiles all round for kids and parents alike.
Children’s entertainer Dory the Clown explained the finer points of her job are not lost on the young and the young at heart.
“You can act and interact with others in ways you cannot easily do without the costume and paint,” she said.
“Being a clown is the best part of StormCo for me and the team, many who still attend high school, willingly give up their holidays to help out.
“StormCo were also involved in a range of other community service projects last week which included painting and weeding gardens for locals.”
