More than 25 children aged between 3 and 18 will be taking the stage for the full musical production, with most children being included in five scenes.
Frozen is the hit Disney movie from 2013, where the newly crowned Queen Elsa uses her powers to create an infinite winter and her sister Anna teams up many new freinds to save the kingdom.
dance Teacher Rolande Hooklan said the performance is classical ballet based, however some of the songs have led into contemporary and jazz styles.
“They are all really excited,” she said.
“It’s been a learning experience for these children.”
“This time they have to take on different characters for different dances.”
“There’s been a lot more theatrical performance involved in this production.”
Seasoned dancer Ryan McAllister said he was very excited to take on the production.
“We’ve been working on running over all the scenes now,” he said.
“I think everyone is ready.
“I’m being Sven as well as an ice worker and I am enjoying the challenge (of the different dances.)”
“I like changing characters.”
The Star Avenue Dance Centre performance will take place on Sunday November 29 at 5pm at the Glen Innes and District Services Club.
