Miss Webster represented her school and New South Wales at the Primary All Schools Athletics Championships at Woden Park Canberra late last year.
The team consisted of over 300 athletes from all over N.S.W. between the ages of 9 and 12 who competed in track and field events against all other Australian states and Territories.
Miss Webster placed sixth in Australia in the 12 year old girl’s shot put and placed second in in the shot put relay with the NSW team and said she was happy with her performances at the carnival.
“I need to thank the Glen Innes Public School, Glen Innes Sports Council, Glen Innes Athletics and all the people who purchased raffle tickets to help get me to the nationals,” she said.
“The nationals were an amazing experience made possible by the support and encouragement of many individuals and organisations within our wonderful community.
“I also want to thank Nan for selling all of the tickets and my Pop for being a great coach.”
