Club spokesman Barry Knight said the square dancing club gathered it members together and had some old time fun.
“This is a fantastic achievement for our square dancing club,” he said.
“David Pearce initially started calling at the club and recommended that my wife Val and I take over the reins 35 years ago and its kept going ever since.
“It was lovely that David and his wife Faith were able to join the Glen Squares on our 35th Birthday and people came from as far away as Brisbane and Ulladulla and anywhere between.”
Mr Knight said 62 people attended the birthday party and stayed for the whole weekend of celebrations.
“We had a great time, we six callers and a full program of dancing that started Saturday afternoon and finished on Sunday morning with a Barbeque,” he said.
“The club was formed on Anzac day 35 years at the Glen Innes High school and only three of us are left, but all three were there to cut the birthday cake.”
