Fresh from making the semi-finals of the District open ladies singles championships last week Ross has continued her rich vein of form with a comprehensive 17 to 2 win.
Thirteen year old Ross said it was an exciting game played in good spirits between the two training partners.
“It took my best effort on the day to beat Brittany,” she said.
Camp said that she didn’t feel she played badly in the final and congratulated Ross on her win.
“I played an OK game but I guess it wasn’t good enough to beat Haylee on the day,” she said.
Mum Kylie Ross said she was very proud of Haylee and the way she played the tournament.
Both Ross and Camp are also in good form as a team.
They played in the junior pair’s tournament at Dubbo recently and after two days of stiff competition they finished with a fourth place.
