The winning house was Moroney.
Overall was a top day. We were impressed with the participation and attendance from our students. The senior students were fantastic in terms of dressing up and adding value to the culture of the event with both impressive competitive performances and those just socially earning points for their house. In the junior age groups the number of participants in field events was outstanding with numbers being higher than previous years. Many students had their first attempts at javelin and triple jump so were able to learn some new skills. Highlights included the house tug o war competition which had the whole school watching. We also had the first ever 'Glen Innes gift' event which allowed individuals to earn large points for their house. The fastest runners from the 100m race of each age group raced against each other with a handicap in metres to allow a tight finish at the end. 13 year old Jasmine Doust and 15 year old Deegan Battersby were the champions of this event
