COMPETITORS from the Glen Innes Pony Club have excelled at the 2016 Tenterfield Junior Rodeo and campdraft event held recently.

A field of more than 190 riders took part in the event, competing in campdrafting, sporting, steer riding and barrel racing.
Glen Innes Pony club spokeswoman Jane Alt said the results from the event were outstanding.
Glen Innes riders scored a number of podium places over the weekend.
Glen Innes rider Sam Donnelly who placed first in the scud a hoe event said he enjoyed the event and was happy with his form.
“I enjoyed the campdraft and I was happy that I won ribbons in the sporting events as I only just stepped up into 11 and under 13 years,” he said.
Donnelly also placed second in stock riders Barrel, third in B/B n Scud a hoe, second in barrel flag scud a hoe and third in bend.
Shannon Williamson came first in draft, second in scud a hoe and third in flag and arena barrel.
Linsay Dunn came first in barrel, bend and scud a hoe with second places in the flag and bonfield events.
Dunn said she enjoyed watching riders she has grown up with succeed at the event.
Nick Cave won the won the Stock Rider event and placed in the sporting events.
Cave placed equal fifth amongst nearly 80 competitors in the 13-15 age group for the campdraft.
Mollie Cave placed 2nd in the draft on Saturday in the 11-13 years age group.
She also placed in the sporting events and placed second in Stockrider and achieved placings in the sporting again.
Miss Cave said she was very proud of her campdraft placing.
Heidi Cave won the cutout for the 8-11yrs age group on Saturday and placed Equal third, fourth and fifth in the campdraft both days, she also won the Stockrider class for her age group and won many placings on the sporting.
Heidi said she enjoyed the whole weekend especially the campdraft because her results were her best yet.
