Windsor made the statement just before the ribbon was cut to open his Glen Innes campaign office in Grey Street last Friday.
More than 100 people crammed into the office and spilled out onto the footpath to show their support for Mr Windsor.
David Stevens from Glen Innes said he will be happy to vote for Mr Windsor “this time around.”
“I’ll vote for Tony because I have voted for other parties in previous elections but nobody is doing what I need them to do, Windsor is doing all the right things and talking about all the right policies, so I’ll be voting for him on Election Day,” he said.
Margie Twentyman said she will be voting for Mr Windsor because of his strong stance for a fibre to the premises NBN.
Lyn Moore backed up that sentiment but said she would vote for Mr Windsor because of his previous record.
“He was the best member we have ever had in parliament and always got things done for the New England area,” she said.
Mr Windsor said he and his wife Lyn have really enjoyed the campaign and are looking forward to Election Day.
“We have a great team with great volunteers and this campaign has been really good,” he said.
Mr Windsor asked the constituents of Glen Innes to vote for him on July 2 if they are concerned about the future.
“I think people in New England and Glen Innes should vote for me if they are concerned about their future, the environment they live in and the communications and educational systems they have,” he said.
“If you are really concerned for your children and their long term future we have to get on the front foot and get the best NBN, we need the full Gonski funding and we need to take advantage of the employment opportunities surrounding renewable energy in Glen Innes.
“I’ll fight for what the people want and I will be regularly in the electorate to consult with them should I be elected on July 2.”
