The pair were in town to remind locals that the election on Saturday is not a tow horse race.
“Country Minded is a relatively new party focused on Regional and Rural Australia and we are committed to providing a real alternative to the current two party majors, or in the Seat of New England the Windsor verses Joyce mindset,” Mr Mailler said.
“I have a lifetime of experience with a passion for agriculture and rural Australia. I grew up in the Moree district and have spent most of my working life as a grain producer between Goondiwindi and Moree.
“My aim is to restore rural and regional affairs to a position of prominence and respect within the Australian political landscape.”
Chris Buckman said the CountryMinded Party is committed to giving country people a voice in parliament.
“As a former resident of Glen Innes the area holds some real significance for me and I feel that the CountryMinded party is a real alternative to the major party mess,” he said.
“As part of the CountryMinded team I am the lead senate candidate for NSW.
“I am contesting the NSW senate to ensure all rural and regional voters have real representation and a choice that is independent of the current two party system.”
