Festivities kick off at midday and locals are encouraged to bring a plate of food to share.

Organiser Nicci Parry Jones said the feast is an opportunity for locals to come together and create some winter warmth.

“The day is really to just celebrate multiculturalism with food and music,” she said.

“There will also be a craft raffle and the funds will go towards organisations that support refugees such as Red Cross. 

“Because harmony day in March was so successful we have decided to do something similar with this day and hopefully the food, the company and the music will all warm locals up.”

Ms Parry Jones said music would be provided on the day by DJ Bob Blair but she has asked that local musos bring their instruments for a free form jam.

“All are welcome to join us to create a bit of winter warmth and sample some delicious world foods, the atmosphere at Harmony day was lovely so if you went to that day and enjoyed it, then tell a friend and come to this day.

“We are sure it will be a day to remember.”
