Ms Green said her main priority is to be a voice of representation.
“I want to be an advocate for and assist constituents by acknowledging and addressing issues that hinder the vibrancy and lifestyle of this great region,” she said.
“As a business manager for 20 years with strong local family ties since the 1980’s, I think I have the necessary experience to be a productive councillor.
“I am a dedicated volunteer assisting local Red Range P&C, P.A.W.S. and I have been campaigning for infrastructure projects for 15 years.
“I have gained a wealth of attributes including analytical thinking, interpersonal and management skills that can be utilised if elected.”
Ms Green said no problem would be too big or small if she was elected to council on September 10.
“Really there should be no problem that is “too small” to address , or too big, for example having signs promoting local enterprises, or repairing roads, they should be given the same attention to detail,” she said.

“Council must be more coherent when engaging and informing the community to allow for transparency and accountability.
“Wasteful spending and financial differences between project costs and funding have to be explained.”
Ms Green said through perseverance and working together, the community can be innovative with current resources to create new niche industries and infrastructure projects like a PCYC for youth.
“With new development, we can fight the consensus that this region is dying by creating jobs, growth and sustainability,’ she said.
“I have a strong moral character with fresh ideas and a selfless approach to civic duty.
“There is a lot to achieve in our region to become all that its people want it to be and I believe I have the passion, local knowledge and resilience to promote the region to make such aspirations a reality.”
