They addressed both the Monday evening group and the Satellite group meetings and talked about Rotary’s district and International goals.
They provided enthusiastic support for the Club’s numerous local goals, which are all directed at serving the local community.
Glen Innes Rotary President Desmond FitzGerald said it was good to get a visit from Mr and Mrs Irvine
“They talked to local members about the excellent work of the Fred Hollows Foundation and then the Club raised contributions to the fund totaling over $300,” he said.
“We let them know about local activities such as the Youth Citizens Awards evening which is to be held on November 21 this year, planning for the “Days for Girls Project”, and the holding of a BBQ fundraiser for the Scout Hall project.
“There is a lot of action happening in Glen Innes Rotary.”
