Local business owners like Howard and Yvonne Lancaster from Glen Innes Waste Skip Bins and Septic sat down with advisors at the bus which was at the Town Square opposite Town Hall.
“We appreciated the opportunity to sit down and get some advice for our businesses,” Mr Lancaster said.
“It’s a bonus that the advice was also free.”
SafeWork NSW Senior Inspector Daryl Wong said he was happy to give professional advice on small business work health and safety, rebates and warranties, effective management of workplace injury and recovery at work.
“It was good to be able to speak to Glen Innes business owners about rebates available to them,” he said.
“We are able to give up to $500 to local businesses who adopt a solution to a safety problem in their workplace.
“We can give the money if a business purchases and installs eligible safety equipment at their premises.”
