Children's services coordinator Alex Mclaren said some activities included a sand art workshop and a showing of the BFG movie coming up next week.
“We’ve got a few things happening in the holidays,” she said.
“We’ve got a really special storytelling by some local authors.”
Local authors Mitch Oxborough and Ann Winter of the Adventures of Fatty the Ratrod, will visit the library on Tuesday January 24 at 10:30am.
“My wife and I write together,” Mr Oxborough said.
“We’ve sold out of our first book and just about finished the second book which is the recital we will be doing [at the library] … it will be the very first unveiling in public.”
The pair will bring along their 1951 Dodge truck to let the kids toot the horn and sign the tray.
