With historical interest and research at an all time high, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
Visitors to the Glen Innes Show pavilion will be able to use computers from History House and search for family and local information available on sites such as Ancestry.com.
Internet access on site will mimic the role of the research section at History House where enquiries about family, town or property history are received daily and dealt with by members of the society’s research team.
Visitors to the exhibition can get a taste of what is available at the research centre in Glen Innes at History House. Local books and research aids will also be for sale.
Always on the hunt for new members the Historical Society is welcoming people to join their ranks of happy locals who have found their niche immersed in local history.
The research hub will be operating each day of the Glen Innes Show.
