Two of the Glen Innes Magpies up-and-comers have been rewarded for their on field efforts.

Alex Fisher and Baydon Grob were selected for the Greater Northern Tigers representative sides when the teams were announced recently.

Fisher will line up for the under 18s while Grob will take his place in the under 16s side.

Fisher played for the Tigers Country Championship winning under 16s team last year ahead of the NRL’s City Country fixture.

The pair will suit up for the Tigers this weekend in a trial match against Newcastle Knights’ junior teams.

They will also don Tiger colours against Newcastle for the under 16s and under 18s championships commencing in Coffs Harbour on March 4, before travelling to Aberdeen the following week to take on the Central Coast before the third round in Tamworth against East Coast on March 18.
