Originally from the Hunter, Hall made a name for herself on the big stage when she was selected to play for NSW under 17s when she was 14.
She went on to play for NSW A and under 19s before making her debut for the Breakers in 2008.
The same year, Hall was picked in the Australia Shooting Stars side which involves the emerging female talent from across the country. She picked up a contract with the Tasmanian Roar for the domestic season in 2010.
After a stint in England for a County team, Hall returned to Tasmania and played for the Hobart Hurricanes in the Women’s Big Bash league in the first two seasons.
Her trip to Glen Innes will see her visit schools and promote Twenty20 Blast for juniors.
Hall’s experience in the short form of the game will provide aspiring young cricketers with knowledge and skills. Glen Innes Junior cricket assistant coordinator Preston Parkes hoped her trek to the town would inspire local juniors who play the sport to aim to reach the highest level.
"I think they will enjoy seeing someone that has gone up through the ranks starting off with the juniors,” he said.
"Because they have changed the format for the kids with the T20 blast, talking to someone that is playing T20 themself in its proper form, they will probably take a bit away from it.
"We have girls that play with us, having a girl there might get some girls playing with us as well in the juniors.
"She will rock up the gear and they will get out there and talk to her.”
Hall will visit Glen Innes on Wednesday from 12.30pm before continuing up the highway to Tenterfield.
On Thursday, Hall will be in Inverell before heading to Moree on Friday.
I think they will enjoy seeing someone that has gone up through the ranks starting off with the juniors.
