Local ‘models’ performed with panache, according to museum manager Eve Chappell, and a static display also attracted attention.
“Three parade sessions comprised of a collection of very different garments sourced from the museum, Glen Innes Arts Council and the Deepwater Players was pronounced a huge success and great entertainment by all who watched them,” Ms Chappell said.
“A huge amount of planning, preparatory work and training mainly by Jenny Anderson, Jenny Sloman, Gaye Clibborn, Sandy FitzGerald and Leonie McFarlane went into the show. The historical society congratulates the models for a very professional performance.”
