Councillors reviewed the 10-year Draft CSP, and the four year Delivery Program at a workshop last week.
The General Manager, Hein Basson, said that good progress had been made towards completing both documents.
“I am excited about the new Draft Community Strategic Plan and our community’s vision and strategic focus for the next ten years,” Mr Basson said.
“The Draft CSP will be informally released a little later this week for the community to have a look.”
The Draft CSP will be accessible on Council’s website, and printed copies will be available for reading at the Church Street and Town Hall offices, the Library/Learning Centre and the village Post Offices of Deepwater, Emmaville, and Glencoe.
The Draft CSP and Delivery Program will be presented to Council at its Meeting on Thursday, April 27, for its approval to formally place the documents on public display seeking feedback from the community.
“Community feedback on the document will be welcome,” he said.
“I encourage residents to read the Draft CSP and provide their feedback on any points.”
