The decider was washed out so the association made the decision to hand the title to the minor premiers, who only lost one game throughout the regular season.
Emmaville were presented the prize at the end of season presentation at the New England Club on the weekend.
Individuals were also recognised for their on-field efforts.
Andrew Symons received his trophy for the highest tally of runs this season, Daniel Holley picked up the season’s best bowler and highest number of wickets, Greg Wilkins won the best and fairest award and Luke Mepham received an encouragement award.
The committee thanked the clubs, Emmaville, NEC Colts, Kings Gym, Railway Tavern and Club Hotel Cavaliers, for making the 2016-17 cricket season a great success.
