Fay, a longtime Glen Innes resident, arrived in the town when she was 13-years-old, accompanied by her parents Eileen and Reginal Fuller. The year was 1939, and it was the day the Second World War was declared.

Her parents purchased the lovely old Royal Hotel and many happy memories remain.

Fay lived in Glen Innes for 76 years, and now resides at Calvary Muswellbrook Retirement Community.
