Under 8s
Under 8s came up against a very quick Inverell team who defeated the boys 36-18.
With so many keen and hard working players Coach Megan said it was tough trying to get combinations working.
Despite this Pat Wright had a stand out performance scoring two tries and converting one.
Other try scorers were Blake Duddy and Noah Grob.
As always Will Wright was outstanding in defence.
Ella Bruce made herself available as a great dummy half while Estella Lute had a great quarter in first receiver.
Every player put in 100 per cent which makes coaching a pleasure.
Junior League Tag girls.
JLT played another strong game but unfortunately didn't get a win going done 24-4 to the Inverell girls.
Coach Greg said he was very proud of the girls coming together and supporting each other especially as we have quite a gap in ages and experience with the more senior girls making sure the younger and less experienced got fair play and didn't get left to fend for themselves aagainst the bigger girls on Inverell side.
Under 10s
The Under 10s played a great defensive game against Inverell. A try for try game with Inverell starting with the lead, Glen boys dug deep to hold them off their line in the dying minutes to come away with the win. Fantastic team effort. Tyce McLaren received the McDonald’s award and three points.
Under 12s
Another fine defense effort from the under 12's beating Inverell 22-10 with some great ball movement out wide and our forwards do the hard yards make coach Steve's job easy.
