We need your help to keep this as comprehensive, local and up-to-date as possible to keep people informed about what is going on in and around their community.
We have developed an easy online form for the submission of events and meetings.
The form is available on our website. It is really simple to use and can be accessed via any computer or mobile device, including your smart phone.
To find the form, go to the Glen Innes Examiner website www.gleninnesexaminer.com.au and look for the red strip banner that says “results/photos/events: submit here”.
Click on the “submit here” button.
When the page opens, click on the green community diary button.
A form will open that will prompt you to put in the details of your event, starting with your own email so we can advise you that your submission about your event has reached our journalists.
The form will ask you to input the name of your organisation, the event (or meeting) title, the date of the event, time of the event (in 24-hour time), the venue, a description of the event and the cost and public contact details.
This community diary can include everything from major events such as the Glen Innes Show or major events through to weekly or monthly meetings of a local organisation.
By listing your event, you are reaching a wide audience.
It’s also a great way to look for activities near you that might suit yourself or your family.
If you have any questions, you can contact Simon Bourke on 0428 556 246 or Marie Low on 0438 287 074, or email necontributors@fairfaxmedia.com.au
We are looking forward to the Glen Innes Community Diary becoming a fixture on your calendar!
Don’t forget, it’s easy – just go to the Glen Innes Examiner’s website and take a look for yourself – www.gleninnesexaminer.com.au
