The branch visited Red Range Public School as part of the school’s Little Acts of Kindness program, teaching the kids to reach out to the community.
“As a school community, we love partnering with others within our community to make a genuine difference within our local area,” Red Range Public School teacher Scott Warner said.
“This time we looked to support our local RSPCA.
“We encouraged students to bring in tins or bags of pet food.”
Mr Warner said the school always looked for ways to help the community and each other.
“We never get tired of doing the little things to help one another. Our students know that by helping others they all become stronger together,” he said. “The school has actively continued to demonstrate a caring heart for others.
“It is often just about selecting one and taking the opportunity to teach, inform and empower.”

Branch volunteer Judy Fraser brought along her pooch to play with the kids.
