An eight-week photography competition run by Destination NSW received more than 16,600 images from photographers across the country using the hashtag #ILoveNSW.
The winning image was snapped by Gayle Wyborn of Petrie, north of Brisbane.
The top four videos and top four photographic submissions that showcased the unique regions and experiences of NSW will now feature in a series of eight short films for Destination NSW.
Destination NSW chief executive officer Sandra Chipchase said the images captured experiences and activities from remote beaches and surfing hotspots, treasured historic buildings, regional inland locations to outback vistas and a plethora of events and festivals.
“The inspiration behind #ILoveNSW is to showcase the best of this wonderful state through the eyes of everyday Australians, both locals and visitors alike,” she said.
“We hope that Australians are left wide-eyed and inspired.”
