GhostStags land spot in rugby finals

Glen Innes-Guyra have snagged a spot in the New England Rugby Union finals. They had the bye in round 14 and with one round remaining, sit far enough in front of Armidale Blues to qualify.

Whether they finish in third or fourth is yet to be decided but the GhostStags will face the Barbarians in the minor semi-final on July 30.

The winner will progress to the following week’s finals for a chance at landing a spot in the decider on August 12 with the loser knocked out of the competition.

St Albert’s College have wrapped up the minor premiership and will face Robb in the major semi-final on July 29.
