The Redfins would like to congratulate Jaydah, Chelsea-Rose, Emma and Porter for attending their first qualifying swim meet.
All three put in their very best on the day and enjoyed the experience of competitive swimming.
The two swim meets saw a few places, a lot of personal bests and first time swims.
Kyara McIntyre placed first or second in all nine events she entered over the two qualifying meets and consistently achieved personal best times.
Emma McIntyre, our youngest female swimmer at the age of six, placed sixth in the eight years and under 50 metre freestyle with a five second personal best.
Lily Cooke continues to show her strength in the water setting three personal best times.
Her best included shaving an excellent 5.16 seconds off her 100 metre individual medley.
Beth Arandale slashed her times in her favourite stroke, 100 metre backstroke over the two meets by 13.04 sec.
Mary Arandale set a blistering personal best time for her 50 metre breaststroke of 58.22 seconds and a 2nd place in that event at both meets.

The parents and swimmers of the Redfins would like to thank our coach Kieth Watts for his attendance at both carnivals and dedication to our club over the winter months.
The mentoring at swim meets and coaching provided at the Inverell pool every Sunday during the winter period has helped our swimmers improve their skills and times immensely.
