Glen Innes weather forecast | FLASHBACK SNOW GALLERY

While the possibility of snow is low, keep your brolly on hand this week.

The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting showers for Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs of 15 and 8 degrees respectively.

But wet weather wasn’t always on the cards for the region.

Higgins Storm Chasing recently predicted a “massive winter storm” for NSW – bringing with it up to 3cm of snow for the Northern Tablelands.

However, an updated forecast shows snowfalls will stay predominantly in the southern parts of the state and Snowy Mountains.

But don’t put away your thermals just yet.

A blast of cold, dry air will bring temperatures down to -5 degrees in Glen Innes early Friday, before warming up to a top of 15.

Saturday and Sunday will both reach a sunny top of 15 degrees.
