One person was killed in the single vehicle crash on Loosemore’s Rd at Red Range, while another person was taken to hospital by paramedics.

A crime scene was set-up with detectives called in as well as forensic police from Tamworth.

The VRA is also at the scene.

Police said the cause of the crash is under investigation and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.

It’s the third fatal crash in the New England since Sunday with four lives lost on local roads.
