Glen Innes will get things underway when they host their interclub and the Zone 13 campdrafting championships on October 14, followed by Inverell at the Glen Innes showground on October 15.
The local club were back brushing up their skills with the instruction school and rally day hosted by Emmaville on Sunday in time for the competition.
Glen Innes chief instructor Julie Donnelly said the program for the interclub is out and hoped there would be a big turnout.
“Hopefully it will be nice weather and, being the first cab of the rank, we have heaps of the southern clubs turn up who will just have finished their camps,” she said.
The interclub will have ring events including rider, hacking, pairs and bareback, sporting and showjumping.
There will also be a wagyu burger night on the Saturday and everyone is invited.
