Following the ride from Glen to Red Range in the morning, A grade cyclists will zoom around Anzac Park.
With some of the country’s top riders originating in the Tablelands, it will give locals the chance to witness some of the best in action.
Organiser Mark Bullen said they haven’t got as many numbers as they had hoped but it will be high quality.
“I’m trying to get riders together to run a criterium, a reasonable quality race, just one race,” Bullen said.
“I am struggling for numbers or but I have 10 riders interested.
“I have good quality blokes going but not big numbers,” he said.
The criterium will begin at 2.15pm on Sunday and finish at 3pm.
The roads will be closed in town from 2pm for the duration of the race.
The race is part of a day to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research.
