Australian Celtic Music Awards win top award for Glen Innes Services Club which promoted and organised them.
The Club on Grey Street was announced as the winner in the NSW Clubs & Community competition for the club which contributed most to Arts and Culture in its locality.
The club had made a strong pitch with its staging of the Australian Celtic Music Awards.
Its win (shared with the NSW Harness Racing Club) was for “achievements in delivering arts and cultural initiatives in the community – including the presentation of literature, multimedia, film, visual and performing arts and public programming. including festivals and events”.
