The high school, the public schools in Glen Innes and Deepwater, the Star Avenue Dance Centre, Kidzdance and kindergartens all combined for their grand “Dance Spectacular, 2017” at the Chapel Theatre.
Lindy Alt, who organised it, said: “The show was a pretty big success”.
She said it looked “pretty fantastic”.
The students have been rehearsing for weeks for the event.
They were mostly girls – though there is one boy in the high school dance group. Dancing is done as a sport at the high school and this is one of its big events.
They train as hard as any sports player – on Thursday afternoons and on Sundays.
And it might be more strenuous than most sports.
And certainly much more beautiful.
