On Monday, October 21, the club played host to an overwhelming 78 swimmers with a total of 209 entries throughout the day, indicating that the summer season is fast approaching.
With swimmers taking eagerly to the water, a good number showed considerable improvement in a single swim, with the club extending congratulations to Natalie Brennan, Annaleese Cameron, Claudia Chaffey, Bailey de Jong, Annaliese Gillett, Jack Goldman, Archie Grieve, Stella Grieve, Taylah Grob, David Hutton, Sarah Hutton, India Maxwell, Claire McCormick, Kyara McIntyre, Royce McIntyre, Oliver Quinn, Caitlan Roe, Satara Speedy, Taya Speedy, Allie Wood, Emma Wood and Sarah Woolfe.
Patrick Brennan, Maddison Cooke, Lucy Goldman, Kyah Heagney, Sophie McCormick, Haylee Skinner and Alex Woods, also showed considerable improvement in two swims, setting the new season as one for improvement across board.
Top scorer on the day was Heidi McCormick who improved in all three swims.
