Glen Innes Pony Club’s Shae Partridge led the way in her favoured show riding events.
She won first in handler, hack and educated hack, scored second in bareback and fourth in the rider class.
Her results in those classes earned her the runner up ribbon in the 15-17-year-old section.
She was in the top four overall and was named in the state team.
Fellow Glen Innes rider Luke Kiehne won the 10th place ribbon in the overall 13 and under 15 B grade grand prix showjumping.
Other notable performances included showjumper William Wood who won the under 15 champion ribbon.
The zone’s assistant chief instructor Robin Cameron said the 20 riders from the region were constantly called up to the podium.
“They all did very well, one way or another,” she said.
“Those who we didn’t think would place did place.”
