Football codes are wrapping up their season and the weather is getting warmer, which means it’s time to start thinking about summer sports. Northern Inland Cricket are getting into the swing of things with a Regional Blitz next week and are bringing some of the domestic competition’s best to town.

NSW Cricketers Daniel Hughes and Henry Thornton will visit the region next week with stops planned in Armidale, Glen Innes and Tenterfield.
On Monday, the players, along with development officer Brett Rankin, will be in Armidale for a school visit before they conduct an open clinic at the sportsground.
On Tuesday, they head to Tenterfield for a T20 blast day with 18 teams nominated to participate.
Tuesday afternoon there are plans in the works for an open clinic in Glen Innes at King George Oval followed by an informal dinner with volunteers.
On Wednesday, Northern Inland Cricket are aiming to do another school visit in Glen Innes with the players.
