The “Triquetra” Awards have been going for ten years but this year they will be changed to encompass one big award where there were three smaller ones before.
The organizers say: “With the advent of the Australian Celtic Music Awards and the Australian Celtic Roll of Honour in recent years, it is appropriate to develop the ‘Triquetra Award’ and to broaden its value to the Australian Celtic Community.
“Nominees may be a volunteer, a paid individual or a group whose contribution to the Celtic Community is considered to be above and beyond the general expectation of their role.”
Nominations could be for contributions on a whole raft of topics, including music,Celtic art, fashion, education, history, marketing and many others.
