Glen Innes golfers won the Gaukrogers Holden Scramble last week when the Inverell Golf Club hosted its first ladies event in the state-wide competition.

The ambrose tournament attracted 56 competitors playing in 14 teams of four. Teams came from other northern NSW towns while one group travelled from Goondiwindi.
Glen Innes will now compete in the NSW finals to be held in the Hunter Valley next February.
